Collection: Easter Gifts
Christian Easter gifts for adults, for the one feast whose date refuses to sit still.
Easter lands anywhere from 22 March to 25 April, so order early means very little on its own. Find where it falls this year, then count backwards. The collection covers the whole of Holy Week rather than the last day of it.
Start with The Last Supper, Earth Tones, which is Maundy Thursday, where the three days begin.

Easter moves, and so does your deadline
The Western rule is the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon falling on or after 21 March, which puts the feast between 22 March and 25 April. More than a month separates an early Easter from a late one.
For an Orthodox household, check twice. The Eastern date is reckoned on the Julian calendar and falls between 3 April and 10 May in Gregorian terms, so the two traditions coincide in some years and run up to a month apart in others.
Thursday, Friday, Sunday
The Last Supper, Earth Tones holds Maundy Thursday, the meal that opens the three days. Lamb Of God carries the Friday meaning through the title John the Baptist gave Jesus rather than through the cross itself.
A piece from earlier in the week tends to hang year round more comfortably than the tomb does, which is worth knowing if the gift is meant to stay up past May.
The empty tomb as a subject
He Has Risen takes Matthew 28 at its word and gives you the absence: an open tomb at first light, the stone already moved, nobody in the frame.
Questions people ask
Why does the date of Easter change every year?
Easter falls on the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon that lands on or after 21 March, so the feast tracks a lunar cycle, not a fixed calendar day. Western Easter therefore moves between 22 March and 25 April, a spread of more than a month from the earliest possible date to the latest.
Why is Orthodox Easter on a different date?
Orthodox churches reckon the date on the Julian calendar instead of the Gregorian one, which shifts Pascha to between 3 April and 10 May in Gregorian terms. The two traditions land on the same Sunday in some years and as much as a month apart in others, so a gift deadline needs checking against the right calendar.
What does He Has Risen mean in Matthew 28?
Matthew 28:6 records the angel at the tomb saying He is not here, for He has risen, as He said. The line is spoken to the women who came at dawn expecting a body, and it points to an empty space and not to an appearance. Come, see the place where the Lord lay follows immediately.
When is Easter this year?
Easter 2027 falls on 28 March, 2028 on 16 April, 2029 on 1 April and 2030 on 21 April. Western Easter is the first Sunday after the first ecclesiastical full moon on or after 21 March, which is why it moves by up to five weeks. Orthodox Easter follows the same rule on the Julian calendar and usually lands later.
What is a good Christian Easter gift for an adult?
Something from the week, not the morning: adults get given chocolate by default and a Holy Week subject by nobody, so a Last Supper or an empty-tomb piece reads as considered. The three days from Maundy Thursday are where the material is, and almost none of it is on anyone else's Easter shelf.
What is a good gift for Holy Week?
Give it before Palm Sunday rather than on Easter morning, so it is in place for the week it belongs to. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday subjects suit a household that keeps the whole week; the resurrection pieces suit one that marks the Sunday. Both are the same gift sent at different points.
